Add Links 

A program is available for NVIT faculty in Merritt to download two icons to their Start-Programs area and their desktop:

• Lex-Vids:  Access to the library catalogue on the LAN that indexes the streaming videos for use on all desktop computers owned and located by NVIT-Merritt. 
• Lex-Books:  Access to the library catalogue of all resources of NVIT at both campuses.  As well as  citations to our standard print books, there are links to electronic books (ebooks),  Links to Amazon review information, and links to the streaming video collection, all in together.

You need to download the file using the link below, and run it IF you are at NVIT-Merritt campus. 

• Ignore the warning messages and accept default settings
• Run the file when prompted
• When complete Look for icons for Lex-Books and Lex-Vids in Start-Programs and on your desktop

Try Lex-Vids first and do a search. On the right hand side you will usually see a <click2view>.  When you click on this you should see the video streamed to you.  Windows Media may need to update before you can view the videostream.

Again, Links ONLY work from Merritt-campus computers.  When the Vancouver campus has sufficient drive space they will have a similar option. 

• If the dowload page does not "pop up" look for it on your taskbar at the base of your Windows screen.
